Here is an article about:
„Many Chinese working in Tibet regard themselves as idealistic missionaries of progress, rejecting the Western idea of them as agents of cultural imperialism. In truth, they are inescapably both.“

If you ask me the Dalai Lama has the right oppinion. But naturally I sympathise with the tibetian protesters as well. This is a very difficult situation which will lead to more deads, more defected prisoners and ethnic war between Tibetians and Han Chinese in Tibet.
The last one shure is not the right signal !
Historical evidence shows that such a crisis in China leads to a forming up of the hardliners in the KPC.
If this happens again – remember 1989 – it will lead to a China in which all modern „liberal civil rights“ in China – if You are kind to say so – are again in question.
The Chinese people as a whole – presumably those of the more economical developed provinces – would not like that. At all !
So think hard about the consequences !
Inside the Party.
